Ultrasound Technologist- Intermediate

Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist- Intermediate to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures on patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as needed.
- Utilize continuing education, learned skills, and experience to produce superior quality imaging studies.
- Work independently to meet the specific needs of the departments, utilizing a minimum of 2 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI Vascular certification.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
- ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire. Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI required upon hire. High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN. Must complete required CEU's to maintain certification. BCLS certified. RVT certified.
- Preferred: ARDMS in multiple specialties and 12 months previous experience in ultrasound.
