Job Summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, utilizing sterile techniques, and assisting physicians as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive ultrasound procedures on patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as necessary.
  • Utilize continuing education, learned skills, and experience to produce superior quality imaging studies.
  • Work independently to meet the specific needs of the departments, requiring a minimum of 3 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI Vascular certification.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related profession.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire. Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI required upon hire. High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN. Must complete required CEU's to maintain certification. BCLS certified.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARDMS in multiple specialties.
  • 12 months previous experience in ultrasound.
  • High Risk OB Technologist: 3 years in ultrasound routinely performing OB/GYN exams with experience in high risk.
