Job Description

**Job Title:** General Manager - Cannabis Retail

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our cannabis retail store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, customer service, and cannabis industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including financials, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Cannabis Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, and topicals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train a team of employees, including sales associates, budtenders, and management staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including answering product questions, making recommendations, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct nightly inventory counts, manage inventory levels, and ensure accurate tracking of products.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and organized, including maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to cannabis sales and use.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Cannabis Experience: Documented experience in the cannabis industry, including sales, customer service, or management.
  • Age and Background Check: Must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
