We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team at Arbor Homes, one of the fastest growing new home builders in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Construction Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the home building process, working closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality projects to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Superintendent with the management of all functions of the job site as it relates to home construction
  • Learn and understand the home building process and schedule
  • Shadow pre-construction meetings, pre-drywall meetings, orientation walks, and closing walks
  • Shadow weekly phone calls with buyers who are under construction to enhance their experience and drive customer satisfaction
  • Maintain constant job site readiness daily for the contractor base
  • Help ensure on-site safety and compliance with all company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years Collegiate coursework (Sophomore/Junior/Senior Grade Level)
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Ability to understand a quality, timely build that ends with a signed-off home and happy homeowner
  • Communication and follow-up
  • Sense of urgency and proactiveness
