Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Trip Enrichment Specialist to join our team at AMR. As a key member of our revenue cycle optimization team, you will play a critical role in improving data capture and reducing write-offs. Your expertise will help us enhance trip information and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

* Work with patient records to improve data capture of demographic information and limit unbillable trips and associated write-offs
* Identify areas of improvement within the revenue cycle as a function of trip enrichment
* Collaborate with various teams to build new processes and evaluations that improve overall revenue
* Communicate with customers, including facilities and patients, to assist with trip enrichment
* Assist with report review and quality assurance, as directed

Requirements

* High School diploma or GED required
* One year of work experience in AMR PODS preferred
* Proficiency in computer programs and software, with experience in the medical industry preferred
* Knowledge of medical and insurance industry terminology, as well as Medicare and Medicaid guidelines related to ambulance billing
* Familiarity with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other critical governmental regulations
