We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented students to join our team as Construction Interns. As a Construction Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction field and develop valuable skills in project management, engineering, and technical aspects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist project teams in managing construction projects, including all phases from bidding to final completion.
- Perform quantity take-off, layout, preconstruction/as-built surveys, and shop drawing review/approval.
- Review and approve submittals, request for information (RFI), and respond to subcontractor RFIs.
- Interfacing with subcontractors and suppliers, attending weekly progress meetings, and coordinating work between the owner, architect, and subcontractors.
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and constructability surveys, as well as reviewing construction documents and specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with scheduling, updates, quality control, safety, and permit process.
- Familiarity with Primavera, Microsoft Office, and other construction software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
