Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loads, Dynamics, and Test Engineer to join our team at General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for determining and developing effective approaches for resolving complex engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Analysis: Perform static and dynamic analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, test fixtures, and systems in an integrated team environment.
  • Finite Element Analysis: Utilize computer analysis methods and classical hand-calculation methods to analyze metallic structures, including stress, stability, high and low cycle fatigue, damage tolerance, fracture analysis, random vibration, shock, and development of loads from time histories.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Support the development of structural test plans, instrumentation requirements, on-site testing, and test data analysis.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document findings, communicate results to engineering staff, and make technical presentations as required.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate segments of a specific project and interact with other organizations and customers on technical issues.
  • Professional Development: Plan for future applications of solutions based on new developments in engineering technology and approaches.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations.
