Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
  • Supervise the preparation and dispensing of medications, including controlled substances and IVs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records, including medication inventory and patient information
  • Provide education and training to pharmacy technicians and other staff members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and licensure in the State of Iowa
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic typing skills and familiarity with computer systems
