Logistics Operations Specialist

Job Overview
TDRL Enterprises is seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Class A driver to join our team as a Logistics Operations Specialist. This key operational position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and provide 24/7 service by preparing, executing, and following up with all parties.
About the Role
As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for operating vehicles with a gross combination weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds in fast-paced environments. You will also perform safety checks, follow loading protocols, and adhere to traffic safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough safety inspections of brakes, steering column, lights, and mirrors prior to each leg of journey
- Maintain loading protocols using chains and binders to secure cargo
- Inspect trailers before and after loading, ensuring air lines and jack positions are secure
- Visit weigh stations to ensure loads meet state safety regulations
- Record times of delivery and hours worked to contribute to company data
- Avoid accidents and incidents by adhering to traffic safety regulations at all times
- Use GPS to stay informed of route information and communicate with supervisors and colleagues
- Drive long-haul runs between states 40–60 hours a week
- Accurately document hours worked
- Perform regular safety inspections of equipment
- Communicate professionally with warehouses to confirm and secure product after loading
- Clean/Sweep trailer after unloading
Requirements & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Class A CDL with a clean driving record for at least 2 years
- Two years of experience working as a CDL Class A driver with no legal or safety incidents on record
- Pass a drug screening and background check
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships with the driver fleet
- Professional image and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and driver availability
- Ability to manage multiple factors in a high stress environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Estimated Salary Range: $40,768 - $65,520
