About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Tire Sales Specialist to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Tire Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, as well as providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle sizes and recommending the best tire options.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized tire bay, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
- Stay up-to-date on tire products and services, including new technologies and promotions.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and service goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with members and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills required.
- Prior tire installation experience preferred.
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
- Most of the time is spent standing and moving about continuously on hard surfaces. Frequent need to bend, climb, crawl, kneel, push, pull, reach, move side to side, stoop, and climb ladders/step stools.
- Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
Compensation
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $16.50.
