Make a Difference in Neuro Rehabilitation

Join our team of dedicated professionals at BrightSpring Health Services as a Speech Language Pathologist in our revolutionary Rehab Without Walls program.

We are seeking an experienced SLP to provide functional rehabilitation in a home and community setting, promoting greater health and independence for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or stroke/CVA.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing evaluations and developing treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Regularly reassessing effectiveness of treatment plans and attending staffing meetings and family conferences
  • Performing discharge evaluations and making recommendations for home and community safety, as well as providing referral and education resources
  • Communicating patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • A valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury (preferred)
  • Effective communication and professional interaction skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
