Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication disorders and delays, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals.
  • Therapy Sessions: Conduct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to support students' communication development.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Nevada.
  • Certification: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desired.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of various communication disorders and effective intervention strategies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
