What qualities are we seeking in our Part-Time Marketing Assistant?

Position Title: Marketing Assistant II
Contract Type: 6 Month W2 Contract (30 hours per week)
Compensation: $28-$34/hour based on experience

The responsibilities of this role encompass:

  • Editorial Assistance [20%]
    - Spearhead the development and upkeep of monthly editorial calendars that guide domestic teams and inform global editorial strategies.
    - Create all necessary templates and story editorial instructions, in addition to compiling app and game collection editorial instructions. Ensure monthly content is archived.
    - Oversee the maintenance of all domestic editorial content to ensure ongoing support for recommendable initiatives.
    - Facilitate outreach to developers for relevant editorial content.
  • Production Assistance [20%]
    - Lead weekly meetings and participate in additional discussions to review upcoming stories, ensuring alignment between editorial and production on programming. Provide support for priority live kickoffs, cover story syncs, and other significant narratives.
    - Attend fast track and bundle pitch meetings to explore potential upcoming stories.
  • Programming Assistance [20%]
    - Prepare and distribute daily programming alerts. Schedule story visibility dates and maintain general programming instructions.
    - Manage security settings for confidential editorial instructions.
    - Update and sustain Programming Instructions.
  • Project Support and Leadership [40%]
    - Establish an analysis and optimization workflow for the Story Group aimed at enhancing business growth and driving editorial efficiencies.
    - Develop and implement global core programming frameworks to enhance editorial efficiencies and improve alignment with best practices in programming.
    - Create and establish a content maintenance workflow designed to keep all key content current, effective, and accessible to enhance user experience and business potential.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
