Job Summary:

As a key member of the Whole Foods Market team, the Receiver is responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and storage of merchandise. This involves unloading truck shipments, inspecting products for quality, and operating powered equipment in accordance with OSHA and company regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload truck shipments and stage merchandise for stocking departments and storage
  • Inspect arriving products for compliance with Whole Foods Market quality standards
  • Operate powered pallet jack/forklift in accordance with OSHA and company regulations

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control setting preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
