Job Summary

At Apple, we're looking for a talented Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our Services Data Science & Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will work with massive internet-scale data across numerous product and customer touch-points, undertaking in-depth quantitative analysis, and distilling data into actionable and intuitive visualizations to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build executive reporting solutions, highly polished dashboards, and exploratory self-service tools, as well as the datasets that power them to analyze and present insights associated with customer experience, product performance, business operations, and strategic decision-making.
  • Closely partner with our Data Science peers to define metrics, design datasets, and develop the automation strategy.
  • Iterate with Product, Business, Engineering, and Marketing teams on key business outcomes, influence how our services are measured, and craft world-class tools and insights to support them at scale.
  • Establish and socialize a comprehensive roadmap to communicate and manage stakeholder expectations while enabling org-wide transparency on progress.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a Data Visualization, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst role.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau / PowerBI / MicroStrategy / etc. for analysis, insight synthesis, reporting deliverable design & development, and executive presentation.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, & Spark and experience using those skills with very large datasets.
  • Familiarity with data engineering tools and concepts, data pipeline development, data model design, and aggregation strategies, in support of responsive and highly interactive data products.
  • Excellent communication, social, and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects with tight deadlines and executive visibility.
  • BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a digital subscription business or large-scale e-commerce platform.
  • MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics or a related field.

What We Offer
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
