We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at CoorsTek. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Provide training and guidance to quality engineers and technicians on quality procedures and best practices.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related customer complaints and issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in quality management and implement best practices in our organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, or related Physical Science or Engineering field with 10 years relevant/Quality experience.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer/Manager certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, quality engineering, and project management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Experience with AS9100, ISO14001, and AS13100 standards and Nadcap FPI requirements.
- Proficiency with FAI/PPAP, FMEA, and Process Control Charts.
- Minitab/JMP experience highly preferred.
