Industrial Equipment Technician

As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of various industrial machinery and systems. This includes, but is not limited to, large-scale washers and dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, conveyor systems, and boilers. You will execute maintenance tasks in alignment with all safety protocols and established maintenance procedures.
1. Equipment and Facility Maintenance
- Utilizes a variety of tools, including hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, as well as precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
- Ensures the safe operation of machinery and systems, adhering to blueprints, schematics, operational manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications.
2. Safety
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment by following all relevant procedures and regulations.
- Implements Lockout/Tagout procedures as necessary.
- Conducts Confined Space procedures when required.
3. General Duties
- This position requires travel to various company locations to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Provides maintenance updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Engages in various welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
- Installs machinery and systems, following blueprints, operational manuals, and engineering specifications.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Equipment Maintenance Knowledge – A minimum of 6 months of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment in a production setting. Relevant technical training or military experience will be considered.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred.
- Must be able to read and comprehend maintenance literature in English.
- Experience with hand and power tools is essential.
- Lockout/Tagout experience is preferred.
- Prior welding experience, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing is required.
