Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions, either independently or as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Contribute to the development of the Master Treatment Plan for patients.
  • Evaluate both physical and mental health status of patients, implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Document clinical observations, evaluations, and treatment plans in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Encourage and facilitate family involvement in the treatment process, addressing educational needs.
  • Adhere to legal standards, hospital policies, and medical staff bylaws.
  • Deliver services aligned with state regulations for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Participate in on-call duties as scheduled by medical staff.
  • Focus on health promotion and disease prevention, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and prescribing medications.
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor towards patients and families, addressing concerns promptly and prioritizing patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Practitioner studies.
  • Experience in clinical settings with the relevant patient population, demonstrating knowledge of therapeutic boundaries and crisis management.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is mandatory.
  • Valid nursing license to practice in the applicable state.
  • DEA certification is required.
