Diesel Engine Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at W.W. Williams. As a Diesel Engine Technician, you will be responsible for accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Quality Repairs: Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
- Accurate Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) in a timely manner.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
- Safety First: Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards.
- Inspection and Maintenance: Inspecting vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions.
- Job Repair Plan: Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.
- Experience: Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3+ Years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines.
- Computer Skills: Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
