Job Summary:

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist PRN at Baptist Health, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions by performing high-quality CT scans. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure accurate imaging studies and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform computed tomography scans on patients using specialized imaging equipment
• Interact directly with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging studies and high-quality patient care
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

• Associates degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Registered or registry eligible by the ARRT

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience as a Rad Tech in diagnostic radiology
• Prior experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility
• Additional certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the ARRT or other recognized certifying body
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
