Computed Tomography Technologist PRN

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist PRN at Baptist Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This is a PRN position, with shifts and schedules varying to meet the needs of our patients and the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform computed tomography scans on patients using specialized imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
• Interact directly with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging studies and high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements:
• Associates degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or registry eligible by the ARRT required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years of experience as a Rad Tech in diagnostic radiology preferred.
• Prior experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
• Additional certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the ARRT or other recognized certifying body preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
