Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Specialist to join our team at BlueTriton Brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our existing water supplies, exploring new opportunities, and developing new sources. This is a fully remote position with frequent travel to area springs.



The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water process management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex environments. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive work environment, utilizing good safety practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.



The Water Resources Specialist will work closely with our Senior Manager – Natural Resources to achieve tactical and long-term spring and non-spring water capacity needs. They will also be responsible for financial management of individual tasks and budgets, as well as managing and coordinating work of outside contractors.



Key qualifications include:

Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Public Water System – Class D Water Operator License

- Minimum requirement.

Minimum Three (3) years' work experience water operations or related field.

- References required

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Project management skills.

Personnel, team, and contractor management skills.

Basic computer skills (Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint)

Enhanced water quality instrumentation and computer skills to include equipment calibrations, SCADA system access, data retrieval, access, and reporting (preferred)

Organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work additional hours and flexibility to travel as required.

Ability to work out of doors in both hot and cold environments.

Engaging, positive attitude for high performance culture.

Routine lifting 50-65 pounds during workday.

Strong food safety, hygiene, and safe work ethic required.

Strong maintenance and hand tool skills.

Proficiency with electrical and mechanical process systems is value added.
