Role Summary:

The Property Manager is essential in delivering outstanding service to our investors. You will gain a deep understanding of your portfolio's unique operational procedures, ensuring optimal performance. As a high achiever, you will tackle complex challenges while managing investor expectations effectively. Your role requires adaptability, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. You will oversee a rapidly expanding portfolio across multiple states, taking full responsibility for all aspects of the business, including leasing, maintenance, resident services, and financial management. Collaboration with other departments and acting as a liaison between investors and the organization is crucial. This position is supported by the entire team and is vital to our strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio aligned with the evolving goals of investors.
  • Deliver superior customer service consistently to our investors.
  • Address complex issues as they arise, implementing permanent solutions to prevent recurrence while managing investor expectations.
  • Organize, schedule, and execute tasks systematically using proprietary technology and centralized teams.
  • Proactively assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
  • Foster strong virtual relationships with all departments.
  • Embrace innovation by testing new software and processes, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Discuss and promote Roofstock's real estate products.
  • Supervise Onsite Managers for properties with multiple units.
  • Assist investors in the acquisition and disposition of income-generating properties.

Qualifications:

  • Active Real Estate License required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in operations, real estate, customer service, or account management.
  • Experience in property management or financial oversight is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with technology.

Location:

This position is classified as remote within the designated area.

Compensation:

$70,000 annually, with potential adjustments based on experience and location. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area at least 10% of the time.
  • Travel may be necessary for training and team events.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
