The Manufacturing Engineering and Testing Lead will oversee a team of manufacturing engineers, delivering technical resolutions to a variety of intricate and challenging issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Manufacturing and Test Engineers.
  • Oversee all aspects of Manufacturing Engineering and Testing support, which encompasses electrical, mechanical, and acoustic testing, design manufacturability, tooling, development of work instructions, and support for the manufacturing floor and system integration lab.
  • Proactively initiate measures to avert any nonconformance related to products, processes, and systems.
  • Educate team members and advocate for the training of manufacturing engineering staff on new methodologies.
  • Regularly engage with executive leadership in systems testing and engineering to cultivate strong relationships and discuss program strategies and execution plans.
  • Assess and establish staffing profiles and schedules to align with program demands.
  • Implement process enhancements on existing equipment and assist in the development and installation of production expansion equipment in assembly.
  • Demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple tasks, manage projects, and foster cohesive teams to achieve targets and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years in an engineering leadership position within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical technical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Engineering, Tooling, Production, Program Management, and Government Subcontract processes.
  • Experience in dynamic environments with potential schedule changes, design modifications, and validation challenges.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Considerations for extending an offer may include the role's responsibilities, the candidate's work experience, education/training, and essential skills.
