The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineers, sustaining engineers, test technicians, and engineering support personnel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of Electrical and Mechanical Manufacturing engineers
  • Ensuring component engineering meets the highest standards
  • Collaborating with Manufacturing Management and Engineering Management to drive business objectives
  • Developing and implementing manufacturing test procedures for electronics, mechanical, and acoustic testing
  • Designing for manufacturability and testability, including reviewing and approving engineering design documents
  • Documenting assembly instructions and processes
  • Designing manufacturing tooling, including assembly and test apparatus

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to multitask, manage projects, and build cohesive teams to meet targets and objectives
  • Strong mechanical/electrical technical skills
  • Understanding of Engineering, Tooling, Production, Program Management, and Government Subcontracts processes
  • Government issued security clearance
