The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineers, sustaining engineers, test technicians, and engineering support personnel. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising a team of Electrical and Mechanical Manufacturing engineers
- Ensuring component engineering meets the highest standards
- Collaborating with Manufacturing Management and Engineering Management to drive business objectives
- Developing and implementing manufacturing test procedures for electronics, mechanical, and acoustic testing
- Designing for manufacturability and testability, including reviewing and approving engineering design documents
- Documenting assembly instructions and processes
- Designing manufacturing tooling, including assembly and test apparatus
Requirements include:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to multitask, manage projects, and build cohesive teams to meet targets and objectives
- Strong mechanical/electrical technical skills
- Understanding of Engineering, Tooling, Production, Program Management, and Government Subcontracts processes
- Government issued security clearance
