About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Data & Operations) to join our FP&A team at Arkestro. As a finance team member, you will have a key role in developing and shaping our business and financial strategy, carrying out several high-impact cross-functional initiatives, and driving operational excellence for the business.

The successful candidate will need to build strong relationships with key partners at all levels, influence them to drive operational excellence, and lead or support system automation, data integration, and analysis to increase team productivity and forecast accuracy. You will also be working closely with financial and transaction data, in partnership with Data Analytics, to help draw concrete insights and uncover risks and opportunities for Arkestro.

In This Role, You Can Expect To:

1. Challenge the status quo by proactively finding opportunities to optimize legacy financial models and improve inefficiencies in existing processes.
2. Build scalable financial models and management reporting templates that can be used by other members of the Finance team.
3. Partner with Data Engineering and Analytics to automate our data pulls and financial forecasting using systems to allow more time for impactful analysis, while ensuring a high degree of data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
4. Incorporate your understanding of our business model, industry/macroeconomic trends, and transaction data to help identify useful insights and guide the company towards achieving its goals in an operationally sustainable manner.
5. Collaborate with Data Analytics to develop dashboards to share financial performance and business findings with executives to facilitate faster decision-making and greater transparency.
6. Develop a consistent framework for Finance, including standardization of processes and development of future state workflows that will reduce difficulties / gaps and generate efficiencies for both finance team members and business partners.
7. Support ad hoc finance transformation projects, automation, tool implementation, and data optimization initiatives to drive operational improvements at scale.

To Thrive In This Role, You Have:

1. 4+ years of finance/FP&A, business intelligence, investment banking, or consulting experience.
2. A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or relevant field.
3. A hunger for process improvement, systems automation, and quantitative analysis. Constantly finding ways to contribute, deliver outcome, and be more efficient.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage time with multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
5. A strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality. Working diligently to navigate ambiguity/obstacles and drive projects to completion.
6. Strong attention to detail, superior communication skills, and the ability to embrace changes and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
7. Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
8. Basic knowledge of SQL to query data preferred.
9. Prior experience with Adaptive Insights, Netsuite, Looker, Snowflake, Workday, Google Sheets/Slides, and scripting language (python or R) is a plus.
