Job Summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and construction of electro-mechanical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC operations, building automation, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of HVAC systems, including scheduling and prioritizing maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Physical Plant to design and implement energy-saving initiatives and optimize building operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to safety, environmental health, and fire protection.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel on new technologies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in HVAC operations, maintenance, and management, with a focus on commercial or industrial settings.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and implementing energy-saving initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings, as well as operate test equipment and tools.
