Key Responsibilities of the Security Program Operations Officer:
Oversee classified government contract initiatives and manage the daily functions of a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
Assist in the clearance processing, which includes personnel security, visit certifications, document management, and physical security measures, such as alarm responses for controlled areas, and the opening and closing of the security facility, while also supporting industrial security efforts as necessary.
Conduct highly sensitive security briefings and coordinate the development and delivery of all security training programs.
Exhibit teamwork, make informed decisions, take independent actions, and provide targeted security solutions for clients while effectively communicating information through both verbal and written channels.
Engage with internal and external clients or government security representatives to fulfill security responsibilities, address routine personnel security issues with employees, prepare reports on infractions and violations, perform program security access briefings, and undertake additional duties as required.
Essential Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as an Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO), Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), or Site Security Representative managing security programs
Experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Special Access Programs (SAP)
Familiarity with Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADE)
Knowledge of Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQIP), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 and 705, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule, and Department of Defense (DoD) security standards
Ability to work onsite during all weekdays
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of the government-classified contracting framework
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 annually (USD).This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this role and is just one aspect of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package for employees.
Work Environment:
