Beech Brook is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Behavioral Specialist to join our School-Based Behavioral Health Program. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide community-based intervention to at-risk youth who have emotional, psychological, behavioral, and/or trauma-based issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide education and training specific to the youth's assessed needs, abilities, and readiness to learn.
- Provide crisis management and support to families in their home/community.
- Coordinate treatment plans and ongoing assessment & symptom monitoring.
- Establish effective communication with parents and involve family in intervention as appropriate.
- Complete daily documentation requirements.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and comfort in home/community settings.
- Ability to work with electronic medical records.
- Experience working with diverse populations with complex needs, including high-risk clients.
- Value for diversity and inclusion.
- Passion for working with families in the school/community.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the family.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points.
