Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of 10-20 production staff to achieve production goals and objectives
    • Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members to improve performance and productivity
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team morale and engagement
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet customer demands and production targets
    • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve production processes and reduce costs
  • Safety and Quality
    • Ensure a safe working environment for all team members and visitors
    • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
    • Monitor and control quality processes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements
  • Inventory Control and Management
    • Manage inventory levels and control stock movements to ensure efficient use of resources
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory costs and improve stock turnover
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production operations
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
    • Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to motivate and direct a team to achieve production goals
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical and Mental Demands
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels and temperatures
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with assistance
