The Monitor Technician - Cardiac Rhythm Specialist is responsible for continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms, maintaining accurate and detailed documentation, and ensuring the proper functioning of monitoring equipment. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and maintain accurate documentation
  • Ensure the proper functioning of monitoring equipment
  • Assist with communication between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prepare and maintain patient medical records
  • Answer telephone calls and communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry observation
  • Successful completion of Landmark Hospitals' Clinical Education and Dysrhythmia course and EKG exam
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
