Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular site checks and road observations to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with client and local policies.
- Document findings and provide detailed reports to project staff to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
- Monitor street operations for on-time performance, schedule adherence, and route optimization.
- Provide critical information to site personnel and customers to ensure a smooth and efficient service experience.
- Respond to accidents and incidents, managing the situation and collecting necessary information to minimize disruptions and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations staff to resolve service issues and maintain optimal service levels.
- Conduct gate checks at pull-out and pull-in times to ensure on-time service and accurate completion of necessary paperwork.
- Identify potential rerouting requirements due to traffic, construction, or accident situations.
- Ensure all operators meet uniform and equipment standards, possess proper licensing and certifications, and are fit for duty.
- Assist operators with service or passenger problems and provide feedback to safety and operations departments on service items affecting safety and performance.
- Accurately document all field observations and maintain accurate file records.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications according to local contract requirements.
- Previous passenger transportation experience in a similar environment.
- Previous training and/or field supervision experience preferred.
- Excellent safety and service record.
- Knowledge of local training programs, operations, and service areas.
- Ability to manage emergency situations and communicate effectively with all departments.
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and corporate safety programs and policies.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
