We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Full Time Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Inn at Canaan. As the face of our operation, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every interaction is memorable and positive.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests in a professional and hospitable manner, register guests, and assign rooms.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Room Management: Verify guest credit, establish payment methods, and maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
- Problem-Solving: Professionally handle guest complaints, resolve issues, and follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Education: High School diploma required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a hotel front desk role preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in a standing position for up to 8 hours.
- Competitive Pay: $12.00-$15.00 per hour based on experience.
