About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused individual to join our team as an Ophthalmic Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with patients and demonstrate a patient-centric attitude and professionalism that instills confidence in our services.
  • Gather and relay important patient data to our doctors, including chief complaints, dates, and other associated factors.
  • Administer dilation drops and perform necessary testing, including visual acuity, glaucoma tests, and OCTs.
  • Direct and accompany patients to appropriate rooms for care as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Personal motivation to provide excellent patient care
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous ophthalmology experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often stressful environment
