Job Title: Direct Support Professional

At Redwood Family Care Network, we are committed to providing person-centered home and community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Assist adults with physical and developmental disabilities in their daily lives, including complete care of dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing needs.
  • Support the needs and goals of each resident by participating in the development of Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and taking them to visit family and friends, to preferred leisure/recreation activities, and encouraging them to socialize among peers.
  • Assist clients with personal care such as grooming, bathroom needs, changing clients’ undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our clients.
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, crisis management, behavior management, and ABA.
  • Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
