We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with physical and developmental disabilities in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist adults with physical and developmental disabilities with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and grooming.
- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their needs and goals are met.
- Support clients in participating in leisure and recreational activities, promoting socialization and community integration.
- Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Transport clients in personal vehicles, reimbursed for mileage.
- Report incidents and communicate daily with administrators, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, crisis management, behavior management, and ABA.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a California Drivers License.
- Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.
