Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant must understand the needs of the practice and support the mission and values of WakeMed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician
• Perform specific services to meet the personal needs and comforts of patients
• Understand the needs of the practice and support the mission and values of WakeMed
• Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
• 2 Years Clinical - Medical Assistant Preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Graduate Medical Assisting Preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant Required - Within 24 Months of Hire Or Registered Medical Assistant Required - Within 24 Months of Hire
Work Schedule:
20 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, Friday
Weekend and Call Requirements:
No Weekends, No Call Requirements
