Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Oncology/Hem Onc team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our medical group, you will provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in an interdisciplinary team setting
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct health assessments, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe medications and treatments under the protocol
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
Requirements
  • Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) in the State of IL; Physician Assistant License (PA) in the state of IL required
  • Graduation from an accredited APN masters (MSN) or doctorate of nursing (DNP) Program with a Family Nurse Practitioner program of study; or Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Prior experience in oncology required
