Position Overview

We are currently seeking both part-time and full-time X-Ray Technicians to join our dedicated team at Sphere Mobile Digital Imaging Services LLC. Our organization specializes in providing mobile imaging services to healthcare facilities, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver portable X-Ray and EKG services to skilled nursing facilities.
  • Capture high-quality radiographs and EKGs.
  • Effectively communicate procedures to patients and staff, addressing any inquiries.
  • Engage with a diverse patient population and staff with professionalism and empathy.
  • Conduct image evaluations and maintain imaging equipment and vehicles.
  • Ensure accurate patient record maintenance while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Calm patients and adjust equipment to minimize test artifacts.
  • Utilize Medimatrix software for distributing completed films.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and workspaces to uphold safety standards.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as necessary.
  • Instruct patients on pretest preparations and provide procedural explanations.
  • Follow infection control procedures for equipment maintenance.
  • Enhance technical skills through ongoing education and training participation.
  • Administer contrast agents under the guidance of the site Radiologist, following specific protocols.
  • Perform quality checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues.
  • Communicate service needs to relevant team members.
  • Adhere to quality assurance guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a 2-year A.M.A. accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Possession of a valid ARRT license, registered in Radiography.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Compensation: $29.00 per hour
