Position Summary: The Gas Infrastructure Equipment Operator is a skilled role focused on the construction, upkeep, and repair of natural gas distribution systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks safely while engaging in construction, maintenance, or repair activities.
- Assist in the installation of natural gas systems and related components.
- Excavate around active gas pipelines and other utilities with precision to safeguard life and property.
- Maintain company vehicles and conduct daily safety and maintenance checks to ensure equipment reliability.
- Ensure tools and machinery are kept in optimal working condition.
- Apply OSHA standards as a competent individual.
- Conduct soil testing and classification.
- Implement sloping and shoring standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of rigging and material handling techniques.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Possess necessary operator qualifications to execute required tasks.
- Complete additional related duties as necessary to fulfill job requirements.
- Must obtain a commercial driver's license within a specified timeframe.
- Capable of performing demanding physical tasks.
- Knowledgeable in safe equipment operation.
- Understand the proper usage and maintenance of hand tools.

The physical demands outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully execute the essential functions of this role. Work Environment:
While fulfilling job responsibilities, the employee is often exposed to dirt, fumes, and airborne particles, as well as moving machinery and vibrations. Occasional exposure to extreme conditions at construction sites may occur. The employee may encounter various atmospheric conditions that could impact respiratory health, including fumes, odors, dust, mists, or gases. The noise level in the work environment can be high, and this position is predominantly outdoors.
