The Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role in the healthcare team at Novant Health by fostering a genuine, personalized connection with patients and their support networks. This position involves collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to assess, design, implement, and evaluate a tailored care plan that promotes optimal health outcomes or ensures a dignified end-of-life experience. The Registered Nurse employs evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their healthcare journeys. This role encompasses responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and delivery of care in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory. If your RN license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, and you have not been licensed in another state during that time, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One to two years of relevant experience in oncology services is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: A current RN license in the appropriate state is required. ACLS certification is preferred.
