Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Technician 1 to join our team at Velvet Cannabis. As an Inventory Technician 1, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory and receiving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Deliveries:
    • Assist with physical intake of inventory
    • Verify intake and ensure accuracy
    • Understand Metrc manifests and vendor invoices
    • Understand Metrc package ID tags
  • Processing:
    • Sticker products
    • Pack, label, date, and initial case boxes
  • Inventory Management:
    • Participate in inventory audits
    • Keep stock rooms organized by FIFO and package ID
    • Stock and maintain floor inventory
    • Execute new products for sale
    • Update and manage online menu listings
    • Ensure Velvet Cannabis' Metrc compliance at all times

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Inventory and receiving experience preferred, but not required
  • Passion for outstanding customer service
  • Self-motivated and desire to constantly grow and develop
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Drive to go above and beyond for customers and team
  • Able to adjust and adapt to changing cannabis laws, requirements, and procedures
  • Available to work nights and weekends
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Ability to lift 50lbs+
