About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams to evaluate patient conditions and provide high-quality images for further evaluation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to provide personalized care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • ARDMS certification within one year of hire.
  • Current New Mexico State Licensure (DMS-NM) or provisional/temporary license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
