The Gándara Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive residential, mental health, and substance use services for individuals and families throughout the Pioneer Valley and eastern Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities- Maintain ongoing supportive interactions with residents to assess their unique needs.
- Provide transportation for clients to various appointments as required.
- Obtain and uphold necessary certifications as mandated by agency and licensing standards.
- Facilitate therapeutic group sessions.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate care addressing medical, MAT, psychiatric, and behavioral needs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric clients is preferred.
- Must have access to a vehicle for client transportation and other supportive services as needed.
