We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing pain management procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients undergoing pain management procedures.
- Function as a preoperative, intraoperative, post-anesthesia, and discharge RN, providing expert care and support to patients throughout their hospital stay.
- Provide intraoperative nursing assessment and intervention for patients undergoing surgical procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and recovering all procedures.
- Licensed and currently registered to practice professional nursing in New York.
- BSN required.
- Previous pain management, PACU, and conscious sedation experience preferred.
- BLS/ACLS, Coronary Care Course, Critical Care course, and Basic Arrhythmia course required.
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital.
- Physical capability of safely executing the duties and responsibilities required of the position.
