Respiratory Therapist-RRT

The Respiratory Therapist-RRT is a skilled healthcare professional responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. This individual works under the supervision of a physician and adheres to hospital-approved procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medical gases, aerosolized medication, and ventilatory assistance control equipment.
- Perform pulmonary function testing, nocturnal desaturation studies, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Monitor and analyze patient data, including FIO2 and SpO2 levels.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information and complete clinical and non-clinical procedures accurately.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Registration (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Valid Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
