We are seeking a skilled Delivery Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working independently, have strong communication skills, and are able to adapt quickly to changing situations.

Estimated Salary: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

About the Job

The Delivery Specialist will be responsible for delivering parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This includes operating company vehicles, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, and picking up customer returns.

You will be required to maintain and operate store vehicles, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and secure at all times. Additionally, you will need to keep track of fuel, fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers
  • Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns
  • Maintain and operate store vehicles, ensuring they are clean and secure
  • Keep track of fuel, fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected
  • Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
  • Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
  • Possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
