We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laser Scanning Specialist to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our scanning team, you will be responsible for operating laser scanning equipment on job sites across the country, registering scans, and training junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Operate laser scanning equipment on job sites, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection.
- Register scans and integrate data into our project management system.
- Train and mentor junior scanning technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Support office operations when not on job sites, including data processing and project coordination.
- Travel frequently, up to 75% of the time, and be available for short-notice deployments.
- 2+ years of experience in laser scanning or survey technology.
- 1+ year of experience in laser scan registration.
- Strong understanding of 3D design, point clouds, and registration techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Semi-conductor, construction, engineering, architectural, or survey experience.
- 3D design, 3D point clouds, point cloud registration, and/or education.
This role requires frequent travel, up to 75% of the time, and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, rain, snow, and windy conditions.
