As a direct support professional, you will provide day-to-day care and support to our program participants, empowering them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, and meal preparation.
- Assist with household maintenance and organization, promoting a safe and healthy living environment.
- Accompany individuals on appointments and outings, fostering social connections and community engagement.
- Administer medications and support individuals with self-medication, following established guidelines and protocols.
- Follow established routines and behavior support plans, ensuring the well-being and safety of program participants.
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Commitment to assisting individuals with disabilities to participate fully in their community and lives.
- Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
- Proven record of conscientious and responsible behavior.
- Ability to work as a creative and dedicated member of the team.
