Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic scans and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in sonography preferred.
  • NH Medical Center-certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty required.
